Preventative actions to stop the spread of COVID-19
The Elms Hotel top priority is to keep our guests and team members safe. The Elms Hotel follows the CDC, Ohio Department of Health and OHLA guidelines.
All disinfectant products are pre-approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use against emerging viral pathogens.
Disinfectants are being applied during routine cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, health club areas, and meeting rooms.
Linens and terry are being washed with approved disinfectant and high heat as recommended.
High-touch areas in public spaces include tables in the lobby, elevator buttons, water fountains, and ice and vending machines are being cleaned more frequent with disinfectant. Pens at the front desk and room keys and key cards are being cleaned with disinfectant.
We are daily monitoring members as they enter and checking employees at least once prior to starting their shift for fever or respiratory symptoms.
Housekeeping staff have been trained on how to use disinfectants safely and correctly.
Performing routine cleaning and disinfection of contact surfaces in public areas, guest rooms, television remote controls, toilet flush handles, door handles, water faucet handles, and flooring.
